A car that won't start, a check engine light, a misfire, something electrical that comes and goes. Steve scans it, tests it and finds the actual cause before replacing anything. More than once, the "bad starter" has turned out to be a fuse or a loose wire.
Squealing, grinding, a soft pedal or a brake light on the dash. Front pads, rear drums or brake lines: brakes are the most important system on the car, and Steve replaces pads, rotors and calipers and flushes old fluid right where it's parked.
Buying a used car? Steve meets you, or just the car, at the dealership or the private seller, test drives it, scans it and goes over it top to bottom. You get straight answers about what's fine, what to watch and what to negotiate on, before any money changes hands.
Clicking, slow cranking, a dead battery that keeps coming back. Steve tests the battery, starter and charging system first, then replaces only what's actually bad, whether that's the battery, the starter, the alternator or a corroded connection.
